It is a violation of Federal law for anyone UNDER 18 years of age to operate a forklift or for anyone OVER 18 years of age who is not properly trained and certified to do so.
 
We Offer First Time Certification or Re-Certification for Renewals.
NOTE: ALL LIFT TRUCK OPERATORS MUST BE RE-CERTIFIED EVERY THREE YEARS
OSHA's New training rule for lift truck operators was finalized on December 1, 1998. The employer shall ensure that their operators of powered industrial trucks are trained, as appropriate, by the following dates:
If the employee is hired before December 1, 1999 the initial training and evaluation of that employee must be completed before December 1, 1999.
 
If the employee is hired after December 1, 1999 the initial training and evaluation of that employee must be completed before the employee is assigned to operate a powered industrial truck.
